1. Introduction

This Google Workspace add-on is developed by LaTeX4Docs. By installing and using our Plugin, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Plugin, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Plugin. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Plugin following any changes signifies your acceptance of the new Terms.

3. Description of the Plugin

The Plugin is designed to help users create LaTeX formulas in Google Docs using natural language descriptions and AI technology. The Plugin is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Compliance: You agree to use the Plugin in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • No Unauthorized Use: You agree not to misuse the Plugin or attempt to access it by any means other than through the interface provided by us.
  • Data Security: While we do not collect any data, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Google Workspace account and any activities that occur under your account.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Plugin. By using the Plugin, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: The Plugin and all rights, title, and interest in and to the Plugin, including all intellectual property rights, are and will remain the exclusive property of LaTeX4Docs.
  • License: We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Plugin in accordance with these Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LaTeX4Docs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Plugin.
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or any personal information stored therein.
  • Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the Plugin by any third party.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LaTeX4Docs and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

  • Your use of and access to the Plugin.
  • Your violation of any term of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Plugin immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Plugin will immediately cease.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
